Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients referred by physicians, developing tailored treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Implement and document treatment methods to facilitate recovery, focusing on enhancing mobility and quality of life.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to address a range of conditions, ensuring treatments align with the medical plan.
• Deliver specialized care across various patient populations, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.
• Provide education and ongoing consultation to patients and their caregivers about rehabilitation processes and home exercises.
• Maintain excellent customer service throughout all patient interactions, contributing to a positive overall patient experience.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to maximize patient outcomes and meet organizational objectives.
• Accurately meet minimum utilization goals while promoting and supporting the clinic's mission.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse patient population encompassing various age groups and conditions. Your patients may range from children needing rehabilitative support for sports injuries to adults overcoming orthopedic surgeries and neurological challenges. This variety not only enriches your professional experience but also requires a deep understanding of different therapeutic techniques tailored to each specific set of needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by APTA or CAPTE.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
• Proficient in computer skills, including word processing, to maintain accurate documentation.
• Ability to establish rapport with patients, fostering a trusting and productive therapeutic relationship.

Preferred Experience

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Two (2) years of clinical experience in a diverse therapeutic setting.
• Current CPR Certification to ensure the safety and care of patients.

Compensation and Benefits
