The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for structure and predictability in your professional life.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Implement mindfulness-based interventions tailored to the unique needs of each client to support their journey toward stress reduction and personal growth.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify individual client stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, delivering personalized treatment plans accordingly.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions that incorporate mindfulness exercises, such as meditation and breathing techniques, to enhance emotional regulation.

• Lead group workshops focused on mindfulness practices, stress management strategies, and resilience-building, encouraging client engagement and community support.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of client progress, treatment interventions, and adherence to therapeutic plans, ensuring compliance with health care standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to integrate mindfulness approaches into broader treatment strategies.

• Participate actively in personal mindfulness practices and ongoing professional development to continually refine your skills in areas such as MBSR.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults facing various mental health challenges, including stress, anxiety, depression, and other emotional disturbances. Our clients often seek to improve their coping strategies and build resilience through contemporary therapeutic approaches. By leveraging mindfulness techniques adapted to the needs of diverse individuals, you will help them attain a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• Evidence of proficiency in mindfulness-based therapeutic modalities, particularly MBSR, and a commitment to continuous professional growth in this area.
