Work Environment

As a full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work primarily onsite, providing in-home therapy services that allow you to engage closely with patients in the comfort of their own environment. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, ensuring a structured work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized physical therapy interventions that are specifically designed to address the unique rehabilitation goals of each patient.
• Manage a moderate patient caseload to ensure comprehensive and focused care, allowing ample time for each individual.
• Exhibit expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation techniques, applying your prior experience and education to facilitate optimal recovery.
• Employ cost-effective treatment methodologies that prioritize mobility enhancements through non-invasive measures, reducing the need for surgical interventions.
• Conduct thorough assessments to develop well-rounded care plans that incorporate diverse treatment modalities, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.
• Design and implement customized fitness and wellness initiatives tailored to patients' individual health requirements.
• Utilize evidence-based practice to offer interventions grounded in the latest research, ensuring effective and informed patient care.
• Motivate patients through their treatment journeys, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
• Teach patients about lifestyle choices that bolster recovery, including strategies to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate effectively within our multidisciplinary team, communicating with other healthcare professionals to promote holistic patient care.
• Regularly evaluate treatment efficacy and document patient progress meticulously, leveraging electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, for accuracy and efficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your principal focus will be on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries such as fractures, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. The role requires sensitivity to each patient's physical and emotional needs, ensuring that rehabilitation is not only effective but also fosters a spirit of hope and healing.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Must hold a valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• No history of sanctions or board proceedings against your professional license.
• Demonstrated mastery in various manual therapy techniques to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Exceptional ability to design and lead successful exercise regimens that meet individual patient goals.
• Proficient in using EMR software, specifically WebPT, to enable precise and efficient patient documentation.
• Staying current with advancements in physical therapy techniques, with a commitment to continuous professional development.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home care settings is highly desirable, as it fosters greater adaptability in treatment approaches.
• Prior work in sports medicine or outpatient orthopedic clinics is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
