Accounts Payable Specialist / Office Manager | $24–$28 per hour | Phoenix
Overland Park, Kansas

The role
Phoenix is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist / Office Manager to join our Overland Park team.
You will help keep our accounts payable processes accurate and on schedule while supporting the everyday operations that keep the wider business moving.
You will work with invoices, payments, reconciliations, vendors, subcontractors, office administration, and company documentation. It is a great fit for someone who likes being organized, solving problems, and knowing their work makes a difference every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the accounts payable and invoice inbox and process invoices on time.
- Process invoices and documentation through Acumatica ERP.
- Prepare weekly ACH and check payments and manage online bill payments.
- Complete monthly reconciliations, Positive Pay reviews, and weekly uploads.
- Support subcontractor onboarding and compliance documentation.
- Manage fuel cards, vehicle registrations, and vehicle documentation.
- Order office supplies and support day-to-day office processes.
- Coordinate team lunches, company events, and office activities.
- Assist with accounts receivable, phone coverage, and new claim data entry when needed.

The person
- Organized, accurate, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident with invoices, reconciliations, and financial records.
- Comfortable learning and using different software systems.
- Strong communicator with vendors, subcontractors, and coworkers.
- Experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, ERP systems, office administration, or construction/restoration is a plus.
