Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients suffering from mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety.

• Develop customized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, aligning with their specific needs and therapeutic goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate and support clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.

• Monitor client progress throughout treatment, making adjustments to care plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.

• Stay current with research and advancements in the field to enhance treatment strategies and knowledge.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, addressing any stigma related to mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders. Our client population includes vulnerable groups such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Through individual and group therapy sessions, you will provide essential support and resources, guiding clients on their path to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
