Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide immediate crisis counseling and therapeutic intervention to students and clients experiencing acute distress, utilizing your clinical skills to assess the situation and deliver appropriate support.

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations for clients referred through our networks, updating patient records promptly in our documentation system known as Maxient.
\n
• Develop and maintain confidential patient records in compliance with federal and state regulations as well as organizational policies.
\n
• Deliver training, workshops, and presentations to students, faculty, and staff on mental health awareness, effective coping strategies, and best practices for supporting those facing psychological challenges.
\n
• Consult with colleagues and cross-functional teams regarding client care strategies, mental health concerns, and preventative interventions.
\n
• Design, implement, and evaluate mental health services tailored to the unique needs of our student population, focusing on overall wellness, academic success, and retention strategies.
\n
• Evaluate and counsel clients individually and in groups, addressing a variety of health-related issues including mental health disorders and substance abuse.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary clients will include students and young adults facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or equivalent in the state of California is required. Applicants with associates licenses cannot be considered due to Medicare billing restrictions.

• A Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field is mandatory.

• Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and report generation is necessary.

• The ability to work autonomously, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple cases in a dynamic telehealth environment is crucial.

• Experience providing mental health services to senior populations is preferred, but not required, as our focus includes various age groups.

• Competitive salary range of USD 50,000 to 122,000 annually based on full-time or part-time status, with full-time counselors earning between $80k and $122k.
