Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a caseload of clients, establishing trusting relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct follow-up meetings with clients to assess their progress, address any concerns, and plan for upcoming appointments or potential discharge from services.

• Design, implement, and continuously monitor personalized treatment plans that align with the unique needs of each client.
\n
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation as well as progress notes for each session, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to better understand each client’s needs before beginning therapy.
\n
• Facilitate weekly individual therapy sessions and actively participate in regular supervision meetings to foster professional growth.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive treatment approach, ensuring integrated care for clients.

• Adopt a growth mindset through continuous learning and development in therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on youth clients dealing with a range of mental health issues. You will engage with adolescents and young adults in navigating their psychological wellness, including overcoming challenges such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. Your skills will be critical in supporting these young individuals in achieving better mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut.

• Ability to satisfy internal credentialing requirements within clinical settings.

• A minimum of one year of professional experience working with psychiatric and/or substance abuse patient populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
