Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, enabling licensed therapists to provide high-quality care from their chosen environment while maintaining a strong connection with our outpatient office team. Our flexible work schedule allows you to work from home while remaining available for patient responsibilities and team consultations. The expected work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients’ unique trauma histories and to guide subsequent treatment planning.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate personalized treatment plans that are geared towards trauma recovery and the enhancement of resilience and wellbeing.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address patients' complex needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an environment that encourages emotional expression, coping strategy development, and healing.

• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, to ensure a multi-faceted approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for trauma-related emergencies as part of patient care responsibilities.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, available coping mechanisms, and support resources to facilitate holistic healing.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records that comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development endeavors, focusing on trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Stay informed about the latest developments in trauma therapy to continually enhance therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice serves individuals affected by severe trauma and associated mental health disorders, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. We cater to a diverse patient population, creating inclusive treatment plans that address the specific cultural, societal, and psychological backgrounds of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and therapeutic models, particularly those emphasizing trauma-informed care.

• Capacity to work compassionately and effectively with clients in distress, maintaining a calm demeanor in challenging situations.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and fundamental computer applications necessary for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates will also be evaluated based on demonstrated expertise in trauma-focused therapeutic practices and a repertoire of effective intervention strategies adaptable to individual client needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
