Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients to determine the need for physical therapy interventions.
• Design and execute individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring function, enhancing mobility, alleviating pain, and preventing future disabilities.
• Administer remedial treatments while educating patients and their families about treatment goals, techniques, and progress.
• Coordinate closely with physicians, office staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and record management.
• Provide detailed documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and outcomes to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Engage in continuous communication with patients and families to address concerns and adapt treatment plans as necessary, ensuring a supportive therapeutic environment.
• Participate in team meetings to share insights, discuss patient progress, and contribute to the development of clinic policies and procedures.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is on pediatric patients, ranging from infants to adolescents who require physical therapy for various conditions, including developmental delays, musculoskeletal disorders, and post-surgical recovery. You will play a crucial role in helping children achieve their maximum potential and enhance their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current Florida Physical Therapist License.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in an acute care hospital or equivalent setting.
• Proven ability to work effectively with pediatric populations and their families.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology pertinent to pediatric care.
• Familiarity with hospital medicine practices and protocols.

Preferred Experience

• Experience utilizing trigger point therapy techniques and other advanced therapeutic modalities.
• Keen understanding of developmental milestones and appropriate treatment strategies.
• Previous involvement in family caregiving training and education initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

• An attractive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year.
