Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students and families to identify their social, emotional, and psychological needs, using validated assessment tools to guide interventions.

• Offer individual and group counseling sessions tailored to the unique challenges faced by children and adolescents, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Develop and implement individualized service plans to address clients' specific goals and objectives, regularly monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.

• Actively advocate for clients, ensuring they have access to necessary resources, educational support, and community services, while addressing wider social justice issues.

• Contribute to program development and evaluation initiatives, including grant writing and reporting activities that highlight the impact of our services.

• Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and other community agencies to enhance service delivery and create a comprehensive support network.

• Participate in team meetings, training workshops, and community outreach efforts aimed at raising awareness about mental health and available resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents within the school environment, addressing a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, learning disabilities, and behavioral challenges. You will work closely with families, helping them access resources and develop coping strategies that lead to healthier outcomes both at home and at school.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n
