Work Environment

This full-time role allows for remote work flexibility while providing critical support within our Detox facility. Our work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, creating a systematic structure for mental health service delivery. The remote setting encourages innovative thinking and collaborative practices, allowing you to maintain a close working relationship with clients and team members while meeting their diverse needs through virtual engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a vital liaison, coordinating effectively between families and outpatient providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Engage with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management, ensuring that clients receive the necessary authorizations for treatment.
• Participate in comprehensive discharge and aftercare planning, developing individualized plans that promote ongoing support and recovery.
• Provide therapeutic meal support and model healthy relationships with food, using nutrition as a vital component of holistic care.
• Deliver safe, empathetic, and affirming care to each client, adapting approaches based on their intersecting identities and specific circumstances.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary client focus includes individuals seeking detoxification and support in mental health recovery, including older adults who may require specialized attention. We appreciate the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client and work diligently to provide tailored therapeutic approaches that respect individual needs and promote effective recovery strategies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, with a strong foundation in clinical theories and practices.
• A valid LICSW license in the state of Washington is required to ensure statewide compliance and practice standards.
• Demonstrated expertise in working with older adults, emphasizing their specific emotional and psychological needs.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills that enable accurate assessments and effective treatment planning.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships both with clients and collaborative multidisciplinary teams.
• A desire and capability to work independently, combined with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with additional experience in substance use disorders, crisis intervention, and a background in community outreach initiatives. Familiarity with telehealth technologies and best practices in remote service delivery will be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
