Key Responsibilities

As an LICSW at Lighted Paths Therapy, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to ascertain clients' mental health needs, utilizing evidence-based practices and solution-focused therapies.
• Creating individualized treatment plans that reflect clients’ goals and harness their strengths, facilitating their pathway to recovery.
• Collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a well-rounded and comprehensive approach to client care.
• Participating in bi-weekly peer consultation meetings to discuss challenging cases, share insights, and refine therapeutic techniques.
• Providing family education and support, equipping clients and their loved ones with the tools to navigate mental health challenges effectively.
• Staying current with the latest research and advancements in mental health care, integrating new methodologies into your practice as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse patient population within the community, including individuals facing conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral health issues. Your role involves engaging with clients of all ages, crafting engaging session plans that resonate deeply with their lived experiences and enhancing their mental health literacy.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work is required, alongside an active Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Washington.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in psychotherapy or counseling, particularly within community health settings.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and other solution-oriented approaches.

Preferred Experience

While not required, experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems, as well as a background in providing services to underserved populations, will be advantageous for success in this role. Familiarity with telehealth platforms is also a plus, given our remote work structure.

Compensation and Benefits
