As a vital member of our outpatient psychiatric practice, you will engage with patients to provide comprehensive mental health care through evidence-based interventions. This remote role allows you the flexibility to work from home while fulfilling the essential responsibilities of delivering psychological support to our diverse clientele.

Work Environment\n

Our work setting is primarily remote, allowing therapists to conduct sessions from the comfort of their own homes while being part of an engaged and supportive team. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify individual needs, challenges, and treatment goals for each patient.

• Develop and implement effective, evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, tailored to the patient's unique circumstances.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups, helping patients build community and understanding around shared mental health issues.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment plans.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, offering immediate support and stabilization during acute mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients on their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available resources within the community.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

• Actively participate in team meetings and case consultations, contributing your insights and expertise to improve patient care.

• Stay current with developments in the field of mental health therapy to enhance personal practice and inform your therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a diverse range of patients, including individuals and families grappling with various mental health conditions. This role requires sensitivity and adaptability to meet the unique needs of each client, fostering an environment of trust and open communication that is essential for effective therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and therapeutic techniques, including an understanding of cultural and societal factors that may influence treatment.

• Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive mental health evaluations and formulate effective treatment plans.
\n
• Experience in delivering therapy to a wide range of populations and the ability to address both individual and relational concerns.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster therapeutic relationships and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

• Strong understanding of ethical considerations in mental health practice and commitment to maintaining professional boundaries.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related software applications.

• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team structure.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two or more years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, particularly in outpatient care environments.

Compensation and Benefits\n
