Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history, guiding the identification of effective treatment pathways.

• Develop and customize individualized treatment plans that are focused on trauma recovery and building resilience in clients.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, develop healthy coping strategies, and promote overall healing.

• Collaborate consistently with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and care effectiveness.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge about available resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation to ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals who have experienced traumatic events, necessitating a deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and the unique recovery processes involved. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LPCC licensure in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
