Divine & Associates Children's Health Care System is seeking a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our dedicated team. This full-time, remote position allows you to make a significant impact on the lives of children and families in Long Beach, California. Your primary responsibilities will include providing comprehensive mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions through a combination of telehealth services and face-to-face sessions.

Work Environment\n

This position offers a flexible work setting, allowing you to perform your duties remotely while also having the option for in-office appointments at our outpatient facility when necessary. Our operational hours extend from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, providing a supportive environment where you can manage your schedule effectively. We embrace a collaborative approach, and our support team is always available to assist you with scheduling and client services. As part of our team, you will experience a balanced workload, with full clinical caseloads typically established within the first 90 days after credentialing, which is covered by the organization.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate the trauma history of each patient, identifying appropriate treatment modalities.

• Develop tailored treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery and resilience-building to address the specific needs of each client.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to support clients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each client’s care.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and necessary support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping techniques, and community resources available for ongoing support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards to uphold a commitment to quality care.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development sessions focusing on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed on current research and best practices in trauma therapies to enhance treatment efficacy.

Qualifications\n

• Current and valid LPCC licensure in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• The ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring efficient documentation and patient management.

• A collaborative mindset, eager to engage in a multidisciplinary team setting.

• Demonstrated self-motivation and the ability to complete administrative tasks, such as note-taking, within 24 hours.

Compensation and Benefits\n
