Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, taking into account their medical history, functional capabilities, and rehabilitation goals.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based methodologies to effectively address patient needs.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as necessary, ensuring that all interventions align with the physician's plan of care.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about the therapeutic process and strategies for pain management and rehabilitation.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance overall patient outcomes and facilitate a seamless continuum of care.
• Meet established productivity goals while consistently delivering exceptional customer service to contribute to the clinic's success.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, fulfilling regulatory and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse array of patient populations, including but not limited to orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports-related injuries. You will encounter patients at various stages of recovery, enabling you to tailor your approach to accommodate their specific needs and enhance their functional independence. Your expertise will play a crucial role in guiding them through the rehabilitation process—from post-operative care to injury prevention strategies.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program, possessing a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy, as well as Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication, with strong interpersonal skills that enable the establishment of trust and rapport with patients.
• Competent in basic computer skills, necessary for effective documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is highly desired and will enhance your ability to provide advanced patient care.
