Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work while integrating into an outpatient office setting. Our team operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some adaptability in scheduling to accommodate patient needs. We utilize advanced technology for telehealth consultations and electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring seamless communication and collaborative care among team members.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, identify symptoms, and determine appropriate treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and improving overall well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively support patients.

• Deliver engaging individual and group therapy sessions that facilitate trauma processing, help patients build coping mechanisms, and encourage healing.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other health professionals to provide integrated, holistic care tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients' safety and emotional well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, potential coping strategies, and available support resources within the clinic and community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure mental health counseling experience is preferred.

• Strong familiarity with trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and therapeutic interventions, with a proven track record of success.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Proven ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and respond effectively to patients in crisis.

• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and relevant computer applications essential for documentation and communication.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum requirement is 2 years of experience, candidates with additional experience in trauma counseling, particularly in outpatient settings, will be highly valued. Familiarity with culturally competent practices in mental health care is also preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
