Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient office located in Paterson, New Jersey, where you will work alongside a supportive team comprising two experienced physical therapists and a dedicated physical therapy assistant. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs, concerns, and rehabilitation objectives.
• Maintain an efficient patient schedule, typically handling two patients per hour while providing attentive care.
• Utilize your expertise to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique requirements.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve patients' range of motion, strength, and overall mobility.
• Educate patients on non-surgical treatment alternatives and lifestyle modifications, minimizing reliance on medications.
• Employ diverse therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and specialized exercise programs.
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain comprehensive records in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, such as WebPT.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
• Monitor treatment outcomes and make necessary adjustments based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, cultivating a positive and empowering environment.

Our facility primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation and sports-related injuries. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
• Current Physical Therapist License in the state of New Jersey, without any disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the creation of exercise programs.
• Familiarity with utilizing EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for streamlined patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is required, we highly value candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a strong background in treating diverse orthopedic conditions. Candidates with experience in sports medicine will find the treatment cases to be both challenging and rewarding.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for the Physical Therapist role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
