Job Responsibilities

• Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and formulate personalized therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional objectives
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply techniques rooted in research to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily activities
• Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in tandem with OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide well-rounded, holistic care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance and training to patients and their families on effective therapy methods to ensure continued progress beyond therapy sessions
• Track and Adapt Progress: Observe clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary, making sure patients remain on a successful path

Education Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Continued education or advanced certifications are encouraged and supported

Licensure and Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
