Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, enabling you to work from home while still being a crucial part of our collaborative atmosphere. Our team communicates regularly through virtual meetings and case consultations, ensuring you receive the support and resources necessary to excel in your role. Our work schedule runs from Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., providing you with a structured yet flexible work timetable.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess clients’ symptoms regarding mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, noting the intensity, frequency, and duration of their experiences.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their individual needs, goals, and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and encourage self-care practices to increase coping strategies.

• Monitor and document client progress through consistent follow-ups and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in integrated care by collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support.

• Stay informed on the latest research and developments in the field of mood disorders to enhance therapeutic methodologies.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with clients who experience mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. You will also provide support to vulnerable groups, such as the homeless, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse, ensuring they receive the specialized care they need to navigate their challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
