This position is fully remote, allowing you to provide therapeutic services from the comfort of your home or chosen workspace. While your primary interactions will take place through video conferencing, you will also have access to a private outpatient therapy facility for in-person sessions when necessary. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments to identify mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapies, including CBT, ACT, MI, IPT, and psychodynamic therapy, while adapting your approach based on individual client needs and preferences.

• Provide ongoing counseling and psychotherapy sessions, ensuring regular follow-ups to assess client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Engage in crisis management, utilizing strong clinical skills to provide immediate support and intervention when crises arise.

• Utilize our EMR and remote communication tools effectively to maintain client records and communicate with colleagues and case managers.

• Foster an empathetic and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship with clients, creating a safe space for them to discuss their mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients we serve at Sunshine Sanctuary represent a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences. You will work with individuals struggling with various mental health issues, including but not limited to Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), anxiety disorders, PTSD, trauma, ADHD, and grief. Our emphasis on individualized treatment ensures that you are equipped to meet clients where they are and provide the support they need.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.

• A valid and current social work license (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) in accordance with state regulations.

• Proven experience with diverse psychotherapy modalities and a strong understanding of a range of mental health disorders.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring effective rapport-building with clients.

• A clean record with no history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third party.

• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Compensation and Benefits\n
