Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexible work hours while providing outpatient therapy via telehealth platforms or in-person at our outpatient office when necessary. Key Responsibilities

• Establish a positive and trusting rapport with patients, fostering an environment conducive to open communication.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health disorders, and prepare personalized treatment plans that reflect specific patient needs.
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions with individuals and couples, employing evidence-based practices and effective counseling techniques.
• Regularly monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans accordingly to optimize health outcomes and achieve therapeutic goals.
• Offer referrals to external specialists when advanced care is required, providing continuity of care and building collaborative relationships in the community.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient interactions and progress in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role involves working with a diverse range of patients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and addiction. Your work as an LMFT will be pivotal in helping clients navigate these complex issues while empowering them with tools and strategies geared towards fostering healthier lifestyles. Qualifications

• A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
