This role is conducted remotely, which offers flexibility in your practice while still creating a supportive team environment. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your expertise will be crucial in delivering high-quality therapy services. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments for individuals, teens, families, and groups to identify needs and inform care plans.

• Implementing graduate-level clinical social work and counseling interventions appropriate to diverse client needs.
\n
• Communicating effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care through documentation and participation in patient rounds and meetings.

• Providing case management services, collaborating with both community and hospital professionals to ensure patients receive the most appropriate support.

• Completing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) interventions alongside other evidence-based treatment modalities to enhance client care.

• Timely and ethically documenting treatment progress in accordance with department standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students and their families, who often face a range of challenges related to mental health. This includes, but is not limited to, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and family dynamics. You will play a vital role in helping these individuals navigate their mental health journeys, providing them with necessary support and coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, particularly with adolescent populations.
\n
• The dedication to work between 10 to 40 hours per week, or more, based on your availability and patient needs.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in school counseling or working with children and families in a therapeutic context is highly desirable.
