Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Angel Social Work, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand clients' mental health issues, strengths, and available resources.

• Providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-focused therapy.

• Collaborating closely with a diverse treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Developing individualized treatment plans that set clear therapeutic goals and incorporate appropriate interventions.

• Facilitating group therapy sessions and psychoeducational classes that encourage community support and healing.

• Offering crisis intervention, risk assessments, and safety plans when necessary to ensure clients' well-being.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in adherence to both ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with hospice patients and their families, addressing a range of emotional and psychological needs associated with terminal illness and end-of-life transitions. This demographic may include diverse populations with varying cultural perspectives on death, grief, and loss, requiring a sensitive and adaptable approach.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
