Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms, identifying areas requiring immediate therapeutic intervention.

• Collaborate with clients to craft detailed and individualized treatment plans, incorporating their specific goals, preferences, and life circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to guide therapeutic sessions and client progress.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment strategies, and self-care practices to foster understanding and involve them in the healing process.

• Monitor client progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes and address any emerging challenges.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, enhancing client care through shared insights and comprehensive treatment protocols.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continuously improve therapeutic practices and client outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans while adhering to legal and ethical standards.

In this role, you will primarily serve clients struggling with mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.
