This position is designed for remote work, providing flexibility and convenience while maintaining high standards of client care. Counselors will work within a collaborative organizational culture that values continuous improvement and professional development. Although much of the work will be conducted remotely, occasional in-person sessions or team meetings may be required at our facility in Lynnwood, WA.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide compassionate and empathetic counseling services, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the preferences and needs of each client.
\n
• Diagnose, manage, and treat a range of mental health conditions, including but not limited to Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Anxiety Disorders, PTSD, ADHD, and grief-related issues.
\n
• Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and facilitate weekly or biweekly follow-up sessions.
\n
• Employ a variety of psychotherapy modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and psychodynamic therapy, adapting to the response of clients throughout the treatment process.
\n
• Engage in crisis management as needed, providing immediate support to clients in distress.
\n
• Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems to document client interactions and treatment progress accurately and efficiently.
\n
• Collaborate with case management teams to ensure comprehensive support for clients while minimizing paperwork to enhance your focus on care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health counselor at Braver Perspective, you will work with a highly diverse clientele, each with unique backgrounds and challenges. Our patients may present with varying mental health conditions, requiring a counselor adept at utilizing different therapeutic modalities and approaches to achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related discipline is required.
\n
• Active state-issued Social Work License (LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW) to practice in Washington State.
\n
• Proven ability to maintain a clean professional record with no history of Medical Malpractice Claims, verified by third-party sources.
\n
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a non-judgmental and empathetic approach to patient care.
\n
• Comfortable utilizing technology, including EMR systems and remote communication tools, to enhance session delivery.
\n
• Ability to work independently, managing your schedule and caseload efficiently.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience with a variety of psychotherapy modalities, adjusted according to patient needs.

• Familiarity with a broad spectrum of mental health disorders and the ability to develop effective treatment plans based on clinical assessments.

• Experience in a fast-paced clinical environment, effectively managing interruptions and prioritizing client needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n
