This position offers a fully remote work setting, allowing you to engage with clients from the comfort of your own home in Wilsonville, Oregon, or any location within the state. As a telehealth facility, Clearly Heard Counseling Services leverages technology to enhance therapeutic relationships, enabling seamless clinical interactions and ensuring clients feel safe and supported. Key Responsibilities\n

• Participate in a weekly treatment team meeting to discuss patient progress and collaborate on individualized treatment goals with team members.
\n
• Conduct utilization reviews for insurance providers, providing accurate clinical information for initial and ongoing authorization of services.
\n
• Demonstrate accessibility by returning calls and emails from families and clients within two hours during business hours, and within 24 hours during off-hours.
\n
• Collaborate with the Utilization Review Department and Business Department on authorization and payment matters while ensuring effective communication with referral sources and outpatient providers for continuity of care.
\n
• Commence discharge planning on the day of admission for all patients, ensuring that transition plans, coping strategies, and resource connections are fully understood and confirmed with clients and their families prior to discharge.
\n
• Manage crisis situations effectively, providing immediate support to clients and working closely with milieu staff to maintain a safe therapeutic environment.
\n
• Complete all clinical documentation promptly during or immediately following each session to ensure accuracy and compliance with established protocols.
\n
• Establish therapeutic rapport with patients and their loved ones, and conduct risk assessments to evaluate suicidality and potential dangers.
\n
• Facilitate admission procedures with professionalism, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for new patients.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; candidates with a Master’s or Doctoral degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited program are highly preferred.

• Must possess an independent and active mental health license within the state of Oregon (LCSW, LMFT, LPC).
