Key Responsibilities\n

• Co-facilitate childbirth education and postpartum peer support groups alongside trained birth workers to foster community engagement.
\n
• Participate in community outreach initiatives aimed at promoting holistic wellness for expecting and new parents, thereby enhancing emotional well-being.
\n
• Engage in clinical consultations and multidisciplinary co-learning environments to share knowledge, skills, and best practices with colleagues.
\n
• Complete all necessary clinical documentation promptly and accurately to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
\n
• Provide one-on-one behavioral health assessments, counseling sessions, and case management services specifically tailored for Black birthing families.
\n
• Consult with prenatal care team members, including healthcare providers and lactation consultants, to ensure a comprehensive and quality integrated care experience for clients.
\n
• Perform additional related duties as assigned, adapting to the evolving needs of the program and its clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on supporting Black birthing families, emphasizing culturally competent care throughout the perinatal period. By working directly with these clients, you will play a critical role in enhancing their mental health, allowing them to navigate the challenges of pregnancy, childbirth, and parenthood while fostering a sense of community and support.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC is required.

• A Master’s degree in behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited institution is essential.

• Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to engage professionally with diverse and multidisciplinary colleagues.

• Ability to work independently and efficiently while being open to seeking assistance when necessary to best support client needs.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
