Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Serene Steps, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting individual therapy sessions focused on addressing personal challenges and promoting mental wellness.

• Facilitating couples counseling to enhance relationship dynamics and resolve conflicts through effective communication strategies.

• Leading family therapy sessions that aim to improve family dynamics and heal relationships.

• Assessing clients’ needs through comprehensive evaluations and developing tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique goals.

• Utilizing a wide range of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and systemic therapy approaches to support clients in reaching their objectives.

• Collaborating closely with fellow team members, including psychiatrists, case managers, and social workers, to ensure holistic care for clients.

• Maintaining accurate records and progress notes that meet clinical documentation standards and facilitate ongoing assessment of client progress.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
