Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather and evaluate clients' trauma history, which informs personalized treatment interventions.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building, tailoring approaches to meet each client's unique needs.

• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Delivering engaging individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma experiences, cultivating effective coping strategies, and promoting long-term healing.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care, ensuring comprehensive support for clients.

• Responding promptly to crisis situations, offering immediate intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software to support client documentation.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client interactions.

• The ability to remain composed in high-stress situations, ensuring clients feel supported and safe.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with relevant clinical internships or those who have completed extensive training in trauma-informed approaches will also be considered favorably. Compensation and Benefits\n
