Work Environment\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily work in a remote setting, allowing for better work-life balance while still engaging closely with a dedicated team. In this outpatient office environment, you will collaborate with geriatric psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to implement effective treatment plans and provide continuous support to our patients. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments specific to the geriatric population, focusing on cognitive, emotional, and social aspects of well-being.

• Develop, implement, and regularly revise personalized treatment plans that address cognitive decline, physical health concerns, and other social determinants impacting mental health.

• Work collaboratively with geriatric psychiatrists and a broader healthcare team to ensure seamless and holistic care delivery.

• Educate patients and their family members about mental health conditions, treatment options, and engage them with available community resources.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in Nevada is mandatory.
