Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history and determine the most beneficial treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans targeting trauma recovery and building resilience in individuals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing and recovery.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe space for patients to process their trauma and develop coping strategies.

• Engage in collaborative care by working closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive support to our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services to address trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate and appropriate assistance.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to support recovery.

• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in patient records.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings, as well as engage in ongoing professional development opportunities aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will focus primarily on adult patients dealing with various trauma-related conditions, including but not limited to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Understanding the unique needs of trauma survivors is critical, as you will guide them through their healing journey, advocate for their mental health needs, and support their recovery processes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in Nevada is essential.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies is essential.

• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, with a solid understanding of best practices.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and the ability to use computer applications efficiently are required.

Preferred Experience\n

Two years or more of hands-on, clinical experience providing mental health counseling, especially to trauma survivors, is strongly preferred. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and a demonstrated ability to engage clients effectively through virtual mediums will be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role comes with a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive healthcare benefits package.
