FAST Channel Onboarding Manager

We are looking for FAST Channel Onboarding Manager who will be responsible for leading the end-to-end onboarding, certification, launch, and post-launch support of FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming Televissorry, still sorry, stillion) channels across distribution platforms. This role serves as the primary operational point of contact for internal stakeholders and external platform partners, ensuring seamless channel launches that meet technical, content, and business requirements. The ideal candidate combines strong project management skills, technical media operations expertise, and cross‑functional collaboration to drive successful channel deployments at scale. Key Responsibilities Channel Onboarding & Launch Management Serve as the primary operational contact throughout channel onboarding, certification, launch, and post‑launch support activities. Own and manage launch timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and risk mitigation plans to ensure successful channel deployment. Coordinate certification and launch readiness activities with platform partners and internal stakeholders. Drive timely resolution of onboarding, technical, and operational issues impacting launch schedules. Content Operations & Asset Management Coordinate content ingestion workflows and delivery processes across FAST distribution platforms. Ensure all content deliveries meet platform requirements, including: Metadata Artwork and imagery Video and audio specifications Closed captions and subtitles Ad markers and SCTE signaling Media asset validation and quality control Partner with content operations and technical teams to troubleshoot delivery issues and ensure successful asset ingestion. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Collaborate closely with Product, Business Development, Programming, Monetization, Content Operations, and Technical Operations teams to ensure launch readiness. Facilitate communication across stakeholders to align priorities, requirements, and timelines. Support platform expansion initiatives and onboarding process improvements. Operational Excellence Develop and maintain onboarding documentation, workflows, and launch playbooks. Track launch status, risks, and performance metrics, providing regular updates to leadership and stakeholders. Identify opportunities to streamline onboarding processes and improve operational efficiency. Support post‑launch monitoring and issue resolution to ensure channel performance and platform compliance. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Media, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 4+ years of experience in digital media operations, streaming operations, content distribution, FAST/OTT platforms, broadcast operations, or related fields. Experience managing complex cross‑functional projects with multiple stakeholders and deadlines. Strong understanding of digital video workflows, content delivery processes, and media asset management. Familiarity with metadata standards, video/audio specifications, captioning requirements, and content quality control processes. Exceptional organizational, project management, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting FAST, AVOD, OTT, CTV, or streaming channel launches. Knowledge of content ingestion platforms, media supply chains, and digital distribution ecosystems. Familiarity with SCTE markers, ad signaling workflows, and monetization requirements. Experience working directly with major streaming platforms and distribution partners. Proficiency with project management and workflow tools such as Jira, Airtable, Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms. Experience with media asset validation and technical certification processes. Understanding of streaming technology, encoding, transcoding, and content delivery networks (CDNs). Desired Competencies Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills. Ability to influence and drive alignment across cross‑functional teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Detail‑oriented with a focus on operational excellence. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving projects forward independently.
