This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to engage with clients through a combination of telehealth and face-to-face sessions, focusing on trauma recovery and resilience. Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to provide care from your preferred environment, while occasionally working in an outpatient office setting. Our operational hours run from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week, accommodating a variety of schedules to ensure you can achieve a healthy work-life balance. You will be part of a cohesive team that offers extended hours support for scheduling and client service, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional care to your patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Banyan Recovery, you will be tasked with several key responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and identify effective treatment strategies.
\n
• Developing and implementing customized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and resilience-building, tailoring these plans to the unique needs of each patient.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in delivering care.
\n
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and encourage holistic healing.
\n
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring the best outcomes for patients.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, offering immediate assistance to those in distress.
\n
• Educating clients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge and resources.
\n
• Maintaining meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participating actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care best practices.

• Staying abreast of the latest research and developments in trauma therapy to continually enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals and families affected by trauma, focusing on enriching their resilience and coping skills. We encourage our counselors to become behavioral health generalists, which includes the opportunity to work with couples; comprehensive training will be provided. Our patient population is motivated and diverse, representing various backgrounds and experiences. This role is crucial in supporting them through their journey toward better mental health.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as an LPC in the state of Texas.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
\n
• Sound knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, our benefits package includes:
