Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, groups, families, and couples, employing various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all records are up-to-date and reflect the client’s progress.

• Participate in regular supervision meetings and professional development workshops to enhance personal skills and stay updated with advancements in mental health practices.

• Engage in team collaboration and case discussions with a focus on comprehensive client care, sharing relevant insights and therapeutic strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role mainly serves individuals grappling with a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance misuse. Our target client base includes vulnerable populations with little access to care, emphasizing our commitment to social equity in mental health support. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will play a crucial part in helping these clients navigate their struggles and achieve meaningful personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a relevant field is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.
