Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with our organization, your essential duties will include:

• Utilizing evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness strategies tailored to address the specific needs of your clients.

• Conducting thorough psychological assessments to evaluate mental health conditions and to develop individualized treatment plans that integrate both traditional and innovative therapeutic approaches.

• Maintaining detailed and up-to-date client records, ensuring accurate documentation of therapy sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes using our electronic health record system.

• Conducting both in-person and remote counseling sessions for individuals, couples, families, or groups, allowing for flexibility in treatment formats.

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including oncologists, nurses, and community resource specialists, to ensure holistic care for clients and their families.

• Participating in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in mental health research and treatment modalities.

• Maintaining strict confidentiality in compliance with ethical guidelines and applicable regulations, particularly regarding sensitive health information.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on cancer patients and their families, guiding them through the psychosocial aspects of diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, and, when necessary, end-of-life care. You will provide not only therapeutic support but also educational resources and community connections to enhance their coping strategies and long-term well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Active Social Work License (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) compliant with state regulations.

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field.

• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on empathetic listening and effective counseling.

• A clean professional record with no history of Medical Malpractice Claims, as verified by a third party.
\n
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience working in outpatient mental health settings or with cancer patients is highly desirable. Familiarity with telehealth practices and digital mental health tools will be advantageous in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Compassionate Being Wellness Services offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 105,000 annually. In addition to a robust salary, our benefits package includes:
