Key Responsibilities\n

As a Virtual Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to understand the needs and challenges of cancer patients and their families.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to individual client requirements.

• Facilitating virtual support groups, providing a platform for shared experiences and mutual support among patients.

• Staying abreast of developments in mental health practices, continuously integrating emerging research into your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on cancer patients navigating their treatment journey, including those experiencing diagnosis, recurrence, and end-of-life challenges. You will also be responsible for offering support to caregivers, ensuring that the entire support system around the patient is addressed and engaged effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

• No history of medical malpractice claims, validated by a third party.
\n
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Hopeful Response Group Healthcare Services offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 105,000 annually, reflective of your caseload and experience.
