Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans that detail the modalities and exercises to be utilized.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques including, but not limited to, manual therapy, functional exercises, and the use of specialized equipment tailored to each patient's condition.
• Monitor, document, and analyze patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on outcomes and feedback.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members about treatments and exercises to promote patient independence and self-management.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and support staff to provide holistic care that encompasses medical, therapeutic, and emotional support.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and share insights to enhance treatment strategies.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy by attending workshops, continuing education sessions, and professional conferences.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid state license in Physical Therapy.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting, preferably outpatient.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other clinical software.
• Demonstrated flexibility and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Experience

• Prior involvement in mentoring new graduates or junior therapists.

Compensation and Benefits
