Description - What You'll Do

• Execute both routine and sophisticated clinical laboratory tests-ranging from chemistry to immunology-while following established protocols.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, address any discrepancies, and conduct preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor newcomers or students, and help uphold stringent lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment and adhere to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
