Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific goals and needs.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment interventions as per agency requirements, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations.

• Engage in weekly clinical supervision with your designated supervisor or lead therapist to discuss case management and receive ongoing feedback and support.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on care strategies and contribute to the overall wellbeing of clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on providing services to children and adolescents, helping them cope with a variety of mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety, and trauma-related issues. While your primary focus will be on younger populations, there are opportunities to cross-train and support adult clients within our diverse program offerings.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in a relevant field, such as Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy, is required.

• Current and unrestricted licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a counseling or therapeutic setting is essential.

• Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards regarding mental health services.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster trust and rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in family therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
