Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth behavioral health assessments for clients, evaluating their mental health needs and developing effective treatment plans.

• Provide individualized counseling sessions via telehealth to clients, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to their unique situations.

• Engage in case management activities, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate comprehensive care; this includes discussions with medical providers, midwives, doulas, and lactation consultants.

• Co-facilitate virtual childbirth education and postpartum peer support groups along with birth workers to provide a supportive learning environment.
\n
• Document sessions accurately, maintaining compliance with health regulations and best practices in clinical documentation.
\n
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to enhance personal skills and contribute to the clinic’s overarching goals.

• Perform other related duties as assigned to support clinic operations and patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with Black birthing families, addressing their unique mental health needs during and after pregnancy. This role includes developing culturally sensitive approaches to therapy that resonate with clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring they feel understood and supported throughout their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related mental health field is required.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California is mandatory.

• Demonstrated experience in providing behavioral health counseling, preferably with birthing families and in similar settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 - 130,000 per year , commensurate with experience and caseload.
