Key Responsibilities\n

• Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments that identify clients' mental health needs and develop accurate diagnoses based on established clinical criteria.

• Individual and Group Therapy: Facilitate engaging individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based interventions to aid clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues.

• Treatment Planning and Implementation: Create tailored treatment plans that align with clients' goals, and frequently evaluate their progress to make necessary adjustments in approach and interventions.

• Collaboration and Coordination of Care: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate integrated care for clients. Assist clients in accessing community resources and referrals as part of their treatment plans.

• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to ethical guidelines and legal standards regarding confidentiality.

• Advocacy and Community Engagement: Actively advocate for clients' mental health rights and accessibility to services, participating in community outreach and educational activities to enhance awareness of mental health issues.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Current and unrestricted license to practice independently in New York as a:
