Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring tailored therapeutic approaches.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions based on the identified needs of patients, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques to guide the healing process.
\n
• Complete necessary billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms promptly to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
\n
• Develop effective crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness strategies to promote sustained mental health and stability in patients.
\n
• Create comprehensive discharge plans that equip patients with tools and resources for continued well-being outside of therapy sessions.
\n
• Adhere to all relevant federal and state laws, regulatory mandates, as well as KnG Health’s policies and procedures.
\n
• Maintain professional competence and skills via continuous education, training, and workshops focused on emerging practices and standards in mental health care.
\n
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to collaborate effectively with colleagues and discuss best practices.
\n
• Complete all licensure requirements and mandatory training as outlined by state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health therapist at KnG Health Care, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. Our holistic approach emphasizes empowering clients through evidence-based interventions that respect cultural sensitivities and individual needs, promoting healing within a trusting therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensing.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing exceptional care to patients.
\n
• Proficiency in using technology for telehealth services and electronic health records (EHR) management.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working with diverse populations and a varied range of mental health issues.

• Familiarity with community resources and referral networks to assist patients in accessing additional support.

• Prior experience in an outpatient or remote therapy setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
