Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' psychological, emotional, and relational needs to inform tailored treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions through individual, couple, and family counseling sessions, utilizing techniques best suited to each client's circumstances.

• Facilitate open and productive discussions that encourage clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, fostering a safe and non-judgmental therapeutic environment.

• Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients, helping them to develop coping strategies, enhance communication skills, and set achievable goals for their mental health journey.

• Track and document client progress, maintaining accurate records of sessions, treatment plans, and any adaptations made to therapy approaches based on client feedback and outcomes.

• Collaborate with external providers and community resources to create comprehensive care plans that facilitate client referrals to additional services as needed.

• Stay current with advancements in therapy techniques and methodologies through continuous professional development, ensuring best practices are upheld in your counseling approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role as an LMFT will involve working with a diverse array of clients, including individuals, couples, and families grappling with common issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma. Our clinic is dedicated to meeting the unique needs of each client, and your expertise will be key in providing culturally sensitive and effective therapeutic care.

Qualifications\n

• A valid State License as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is a prerequisite to apply for this position.

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required; advanced degrees are highly preferred.

• At least two years of direct clinical experience providing therapy in a similar setting.

• Strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Therapy, and Solution-Focused Counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n
