Work Environment

This full-time position requires you to work onsite within our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life routine. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient goals and develop individualized treatment plans incorporating a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Administer cost-effective therapies aimed at improving patients' range of motion, strength, and mobility while minimizing their reliance on medications.
• Maintain a patient schedule with a dedicated approach, typically managing one patient per hour to ensure high-quality, personalized care.
• Incorporate evidence-based practices into your clinical decision-making, tailoring interventions to meet each patient's unique circumstances.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner, utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) software such as WebPT.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout the recovery process, promoting adherence to treatment plans and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to enhance patient outcomes.
• Evaluate program effectiveness by monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatments accordingly to ensure optimal recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Our diverse patient demographic includes individuals of all ages, from young athletes to seniors requiring mobility assistance. Your extensive knowledge and hands-on experience will help you effectively address their specific rehabilitation challenges and empower them to achieve their personal goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy (Master's or Doctorate level preferred).
• Current and valid California Physical Therapist license.
• Ability to maintain a clean record with no disciplinary actions against your physical therapy license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the design of personalized exercise programs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, with WebPT experience being a plus.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• A proven track record with a focus on patient-centered therapy and rehabilitation.
• Experience utilizing innovative therapeutic methods to enhance patient growth and recovery.

Compensation and Benefits
