Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in an onsite rehabilitation facility that boasts cutting-edge technology and a variety of treatment areas designed to cater to different therapeutic needs. Our work schedule runs Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and circumstances.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, providing detailed attention to one patient per hour to ensure quality therapeutic interaction and follow-up.
• Design and implement comprehensive care plans that utilize a range of therapeutic modalities and techniques to promote recovery.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols to improve patients' range of motion, strength, flexibility, and overall functionality.
• Document patient care and progress meticulously in our electronic medical record (EMR) system, specifically WebPT, ensuring accurate records and compliance.
• Evaluate patient treatment outcomes continuously and adjust care plans as necessary to optimize patient journeys toward recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care interventions.
• Provide education and evidence-based guidance to patients on lifestyle modifications that support their rehabilitation efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic rehabilitation patients, many of whom are recovering from sports injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions that impact mobility. By employing evidence-based practices and personalized treatment plans, you will work closely with each patient to motivate them throughout their rehabilitation journey, enhancing their recovery and functionality.

Qualifications

• An earned Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid California Physical Therapist license with no recent disciplinary actions.
• Strong experience and proficiency in orthopedic outpatient therapy, particularly with manual therapy techniques.
• Exceptional skills in developing exercise protocols that cater to diverse patient needs.
• Proficiency using electronic medical records software, especially WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient care management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a sports medicine or orthopedic rehab setting is highly desired.
• Demonstrated capability in patient education and wellness program development.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
