Work Environment

This role is performed onsite, offering an engaging and interactive work atmosphere. The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a well-balanced work-life schedule. You will collaborate closely with a team consisting of two other licensed physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA) that share the same commitment to patient care. We primarily cater to patients with private medical insurance, emphasizing individualized and targeted treatment approaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient goals and requirements, tailoring treatment plans that address their unique needs.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring efficient and attentive care throughout the treatment process.
• Provide high-quality therapeutic interventions, utilizing evidence-based methodologies to maximize patient outcomes.
• Create detailed care plans that incorporate various treatment modalities, ensuring an adaptive approach based on each patient's progress.
• Employ innovative strategies to reduce dependence on medications and provide alternatives to surgical interventions when appropriate.
• Drive motivation by actively engaging patients in their rehabilitation processes, setting achievable goals to enhance their functional capabilities.
• Promote holistic wellness by developing personalized exercise programs that improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient care and referrals, utilizing open lines of communication.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and legal requirements.
• Regularly evaluate treatment efficacy, adjusting techniques and goals based on patient progress and feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily focuses on orthopedic outpatient care. Patients range from post-operative rehabilitation clients to athletes needing performance optimization. We emphasize providing cost-effective treatments and holistic care aimed at restoring mobility, promoting independence, and enhancing overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Possess a current and unblemished license as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• Exhibit manual therapy expertise and the ability to develop and implement exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.
• Demonstrated proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT or similar platforms.
• Maintain a clean professional record without disciplinary actions or board sanctions.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
• Hands-on experience with various therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation techniques
• Experience crafting comprehensive treatment plans with measurable outcomes

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
