Work Environment

This onsite role is situated in a well-equipped, modern clinic that encourages a positive, interactive atmosphere for both staff and patients. You will have access to advanced treatment technologies and a comfortable environment designed to foster rehabilitation and recovery. Our typical workweek runs from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to determine their needs, setting personalized goals for rehabilitation and recovery.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring efficient and effective treatment plans are executed.
• Implement and modify evidence-based treatment techniques to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
• Create tailored fitness and therapeutic programs aimed at improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Document all treatment outcomes and patient communications in compliance with documentation standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care and optimal patient outcomes throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Engage and motivate patients, fostering an encouraging environment that helps them achieve their functional abilities.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on individual progress assessments.
• Educate patients regarding their conditions and promote a healthier lifestyle through preventive measures.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work primarily with orthopedic patients seeking rehabilitation following surgery or injury, as well as individuals aiming to enhance their physical performance. Our client base is predominantly covered by private insurance, allowing for personalized, high-quality treatments aimed at restoring their mobility and functionality.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• A clean professional record with no board actions or disciplinary measures affecting licensure.
• Strong skills in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop and direct individualized exercise programs.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT or similar platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Proven competency in handling diverse patient cases effectively, with a strong focus on positive outcomes.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team to achieve shared goals.

Compensation and Benefits
