Meridian Shine Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist to join our team in Long Beach, California. This role is instrumental in guiding patients on their path to recovery, enhancing their mobility, and improving their overall quality of life. As a Physical Therapist in our outpatient practice, you will engage with a diverse patient demographic as you implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

Work Environment

This position is onsite at our modern outpatient office located in Long Beach, California. Our facility features a variety of wellness and rehabilitation tools, ensuring you have access to the latest resources in sports medicine. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient objectives and tailor treatment plans that meet their unique needs.
• Deliver one-on-one physical therapy sessions, managing a caseload of patients effectively, aiming to see one patient per hour.
• Employ various therapeutic techniques to enhance mobility and function, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
• Document patient progress meticulously, adjusting care plans based on continual assessments to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients on exercises and wellness strategies, emphasizing a reduction in medication reliance and surgical interventions when possible.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans, ensuring cohesive treatment pathways.
• Inspire and motivate patients to engage actively in their recovery process, providing support and guidance throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Utilize EMR systems such as WebPT for efficient management of patient records and treatment documentation.

Our practice primarily focuses on patients seeking orthopedic rehabilitation, often coming to us for help with pain management, post-surgery recovery, and injury rehabilitation. We cater to a broad spectrum of ages and activity levels, from athletes aiming to regain peak performance to individuals recovering from everyday injuries. Our commitment is to deliver personalized care that aligns with each patient's goals, ensuring their return to optimal function.

Qualifications

• Valid Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current license as a Physical Therapist to practice in California.
• Clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against the license.
• Solid foundation in manual therapy techniques and exercise development.
• Demonstrable skills in designing and overseeing exercise programs tailored for diverse patient needs.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record software, specifically WebPT or similar platforms.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Experience in multidisciplinary collaboration for comprehensive patient care.
• A history of applying evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
• Expertise in facilitating fitness programs that focus on strength, flexibility, and mobility.

Compensation and Benefits

This rewarding position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a robust benefits package.
