Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions, symptoms, and limitations, developing personalized treatment plans based on their diagnosis.
• Diagnose movement dysfunctions and employ targeted interventions to restore function and alleviate pain, utilizing techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation exercises and preventive care, ensuring they understand the importance of adherence to at-home management plans.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records, tracking progress against therapeutic goals, and adapting treatment strategies as necessary.
• Advise patients on adaptive tools and assistive devices, providing necessary training on their safe use, including wheelchairs, walkers, and exercise equipment.
• Actively participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies, share insights, and collaborate on complex cases.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent, with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in California.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficiency in computer systems for documenting patient information and treatment plans.
• A flexible, motivated, and eager approach to patient care in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in a rehabilitation setting, with a minimum of two years in the field recommended.
• Exposure to a variety of physical therapy techniques and modalities, with a willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• Experience with a range of patient demographics and conditions, fostering a well-rounded approach to care.

Compensation and Benefits
